WHY THE SM30 IS OUR BEST SELLING WATER MAKER
50% more fresh water Production.
SM30 adds a second 40 RO membrane – one to produces 20GPH while membrane two adds an additional 13GPH. This gives you over a 50% increase in fresh water production for the exact same power usage, generator run time, and support equipment.
Redundancy
If one of the two RO membranes were to fail you can easily re-plumb and run the unit on a single RO membrane and continue along with a 20GPH water maker until you get a replacement RO membrane.
Relative Cost adder over the SM20
The price difference between the SM20 and SM30 is $900. This minimal increase in cost will get you over 50% more fresh water production along with the redundancy feature of having two independent membrane

DIMENSIONS
The below table provides the length, width, height, and weight of the various water maker modules. The listed dimensions represent the greatest size measurement to create a box that the module can be contained within. However, as can be seen in the module photo images, the modules could actually fit into a smaller space depending upon the installation orientation. These dimensions do not include the room needed for wires or hoses to enter or exit the equipment. All equipment comes with straight fittings. Optional 90-degree fittings are available.
